As a part of the BSA, the scouting mission is at the core of our efforts: Preparing young men and women for their lives with leadership skills while exposing them to new hobbies, skills, and ideas.
The BSA is a program where youth from ages 10-17 can participate in a wide variety of activities with their troops. Younger scouts in elementary school can participate in a program for children called Cub Scouts, but the most influential part of the program has always been Boy Scouts.
